Home Utilities

utilitiesMARRS’ core business is utilities-focused. We hold a vast storehouse of knowledge on Southern California utilities. One of the first lessons we learned still holds true: addressing utility issues up front prevents schedule disruption later. Our project managers and key personnel understand the local environment, from many successful highway, transit, airport, community development, water, sewer, and power utility projects. MARRS supports civil and utility infrastructure projects and transit facilities involving project development, design, and construction management of both wet and dry utility systems. Our approach works because our key utilities personnel have previously worked for utility companies and we coordinate closely with utility agencies. We partner with stakeholders and utility owners to develop utilities relocation/protection strategies in a timely manner that minimizes risk for the utility owner by obtaining consensus on the project footprint, devising strategies for mitigating impacts, and analyzing criteria for successful utilities relocation, avoidance, protection, or modifications prior to design. Over the years, our focus on utilities has provided core support for many successful infrastructure projects.
